Registered Charitable Status

Prove It Ministries Canada Begins Next Step Toward Registered Charitable Status

Following the federal incorporation of Prove It Ministries Canada, the organization is moving into its next major stage of development: preparing to apply to the Canada Revenue Agency for registered charitable status.

Prove It™ is not being built simply as another Christian website. The long-term vision is a free Christian apologetics and evangelism ministry capable of reaching people wherever questions about Christianity arise. That might be a teenager whose faith has just been challenged at school, a Christian who has been asked a question they cannot answer, someone sitting at home privately wondering whether God exists or a skeptic questioning whether Christianity has any credible evidence behind its claims.

Those moments matter, and Prove It™ is being designed to meet people there. The platform will bring together apologetics, historical and scientific evidence, educational resources, Scripture, testimony, evangelism and practical sharing tools that help people investigate, understand and communicate the Christian faith.

Registered charitable status would provide an important framework for developing that mission sustainably and transparently. Prove It Ministries Canada’s federal Articles of Incorporation were established with charitable purposes in mind, including advancing the Christian religion through teaching, digital media, religious instruction, evangelistic and missionary activities, Bible studies and other religious programs. The organization’s purposes also include advancing education through structured resources relating to Christianity, Christian apologetics, theology, the Bible and the historical foundations of the Christian faith.

Preparing a charitable registration application requires the ministry to translate its vision into defined programs and activities, including how those programs will operate, who they will serve, how funds will be used and how each activity advances the organization’s stated purposes. That work is now being developed alongside the technology, content and organizational infrastructure behind Prove It™.

Until charitable registration is granted, Prove It Ministries Canada will not represent itself as a registered charity or issue official Canadian charitable donation receipts. Development and fundraising for the organization’s current stage will continue within the framework applicable to its present not-for-profit status.

The mission remains unchanged: make the case for Christianity easier to find, make difficult questions easier to understand, equip Christians to become more confident about why they believe, give seekers a place where serious questions are welcomed and, ultimately, point people toward Jesus Christ.
